The Curriculum for the Mysheffield HLF project sets out to explore shared experiences of youth by people in the north of Sheffield off all ages by using local buildings and landmarks as starting points for discussion.
Writing about and recording the experience for posterity with the support of Sheffield Local Studies Library enables us to gain valuble communication skills.
Working with youth workers and youth leaders from High Green and Stocksbridge Youth Club enable us to look at areas of importance for young people the 'Every Child Matters' framework is a nationaly agreed set of areas for the focus of young peoples services.
In the films and media projects shown on the site young people can be seen tackling issues in some of these areas. In assessing the effectivness of the project and the contributions made by participants in projects we will be looking at how these contributions meet the every child matters framework.
lifeskills and basic skills development, the every child matters framework offers a well informed set of subject areas to explore.

There have been loads of new buildings going up in the centre of Sheffield I thought I'd take a look at some of the ones being built near the station. I checked out the new local community radio station Sheffield Live.
I prefered using the camera to being on it, the editing takes time and patience to do but i enjoy it even thou it can be boring. Some times it helps to plan ahead when filming , so that people can have time to prepare and get so that are comfy and relaxedby sam, Wed 5th Dec 6pm Read more... On the Map..
